TCS NQT 2025 Results Declared – What’s Next? Full Process Explained

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has started rolling out results for candidates who appeared for the TCS NQT exam and interview rounds. If you’ve recently given your TCS NQT 2025 interview, here’s a complete guide on how to check your result and what happens next in the selection process.

You can check your TCS NQT result using the following steps:

  1. Visit the TCS NextStep Portal:
    https://nextstep.tcs.com
  2. Login using your credentials:
    • Use your Reference ID (CT/DT number) and Password.
  3. After logging in:
    • If selected: You’ll see “Congratulations!” message or status like “Selected for Onboarding” or “Offer Letter will be issued shortly.”
    • If not selected: The portal may show “Regret” message or status as “Not selected”, or remain blank for some time (in rare cases).
  4. Also, check your Email ID (registered with TCS) regularly for:
    • Selection confirmation
    • Offer letter
    • Onboarding details

If you are selected, here’s the next step-by-step process:

1. Offer Letter

  • You will receive your TCS Offer Letter on the NextStep Portal and/or through email.
  • Download, read, and accept the offer within the mentioned deadline.

2. Background Verification (BGC)

  • Upload required documents for BGC (Background Check):
    • PAN Card, Aadhaar Card
    • Academic certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation)
    • Passport-size photo
    • Internship/experience letter (if any)

3. Joining Letter

  • After BGC clearance, TCS will send you a Joining Letter with:
    • Joining date
    • Reporting location (may be virtual or physical)
    • Induction details

4. Pre-Joining Learning (Optional)

  • TCS might share pre-joining learning modules (TCS Xplore) to complete before joining. These are usually recommended, not compulsory.

5. Final Onboarding

  • On the joining date, TCS will conduct a Virtual/Physical Onboarding Program.
  • Once onboarded, you’ll be added to projects/training as per business requirements.
  • Keep checking NextStep Portal & Email regularly.
  • Make sure your documents are ready and valid.
  • PAN Card is mandatory for BGC and onboarding.
